The National Kidney Foundation of Connecticut relies entirely on the support and generosity of the good people in Connecticut. We want to thank them for their support which enables the organization to help the thousands of men, women, children and their families who are affected by kidney and urinary tract diseases.
Did you know that:
$25 provides five people with medical identification jewelry?
$50 pays for a child with kidney disease and their siblings and family members to attend a KidNeeds event, an opportunity for families to socialize and share coping information?
$100 pays for one person to participate in a health screening which may identify hypertension, diabetes and early kidney disease, and ultimately save that person's life?
$500 pays for literature written for the layperson that can help them understand kidney disease and their treatment options?
$1,500 sends a child and their family to dialysis summer camp for a week?

Many people name the National Kidney Foundation of Connecticut to receive memorials in the name of family members. Others name the organization to receive gifts in honor of a special occasion, like a birthday, anniversary, mother's day, father's day, etc.

Planned giving is the planning of a future gift either prior to or at the time of one's own death or the death of a spouse or other loved ones. The National Kidney Foundation's Planned Giving Program is designed to help you perpetuate your concern while helping to continue lifesaving efforts in the fight against kidney disease.
Your commitment to improving the lives of others can also help you meet your financial needs today. You may benefit from immediate income, capital gains or estate tax relief and freedom from future investment possibilities.
Here are some ways you can benefit from a planned gift to the National Kidney Foundation of Connecticut:
Save current income tax dollars
Avoid or defer tax on capital gain when you give appreciated property v
Reduce estate tax on your legacy to heirs
Receive income payments for life from the asset you contribute
Reduce probate costs and lessen the chances of a challenge to your will
Use an idle asset to benefit the NKF and increase your cash flow
Entrust asset management to experts while you and the NKF enjoy the rewards
Experience the satisfaction of making that Big Gift now, during your lifetime. For more information on planned giving: call Ron Sallerson (860)257-3770 or (800)441-1280.
