The Foundation brings hope to thousands of people across Connecticut, including more than 3,000 dialysis patients and an estimated 500 residents currently waiting for kidney transplants. The NKF of Connecticut funds medical research in fields of nephrology (kidney disease), transplantation and urology and provides education and support services to patients and transplant recipients, their families and to renal (kidney) health professionals in Connecticut.

To prevent kidney and urinary tract diseases
Improve the health and well being of individuals and families affected by these diseases
Increase the availability of all organs for transplantation

Kim joined the NKF in 1994. She is responsible for the management of the Affiliate under the direction of the Board of Directors.
Marcia Hilditch, Programs Director
mhilditch@kidneyct.org
Marcia joined NKF in Sept. 1998. She is responsible for the transplant educational programs and KEEP (Kidney Early Evaluation Program) screenings. She is also the manager of Team Connecticut, our transplant team of athletes.
Donna Sciacca, Office Manager, Patient Services Coordinator

Donna has worked at the NKF since 1996. She is responsible for managing the Patient Emergency Assistance Fund and our Medical Jewelry Program. She oversees our resource library and fills information requests from the public and health care professionals. In addition, Donna is the editor of our quarterly newsletter.
Ron Pape, Finance Manager rpape@kidneyct.org
Ron joined the NKF in October 1999. He compiles all financial reports in order to provide a true and accurate representation of the financial condition of the organization. Ron is also responsible for the record keeping, internal controls and operation of the computer system.
Linda Zuboff, Development Associate

Linda Zuboff organizes and coordinates all major fundraising events, including the Gift of Life Gala, Kidney Walks and the Cadillac Invitational Golf Tournament. She is also responsible for our local Kidney Kaptain fundraising events throughout the state.
Ron Sallerson, Director of Development and Marketing

Ron Sallerson focuses on all aspects of development, including individual, corporate and foundation giving. In addition, he is responsible for the Foundation’s expansion throughout the state, in an effort to increase visibility for both programs and fundraising.
